Face mapping is the Chinese practice of ‘face reading’. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that when illnesses or imbalances are present in the body, our skin can be used to evaluate which areas the internal issue is taking place in. When our skin starts to play up, it is a major clue that something is going on within our bodies that is out of balance. Within the Western world today, we have all become very curious about face reading, even though there have been no scientific studies behind it. However, this has not stopped us from researching it and putting it to good use in our lives. When rashes, pimples, pigmentation, redness, dermatitis and many more skin conditions are apparent, we need to look at what is internally going on within our bodies.
When I discovered face mapping, I realised the truth of my acne problem. Mainly centered on my cheeks, jaw and chin, it was my respiratory system and hormones that were causing all the trouble. Once I focused on these areas within my body and treated them with the respect they deserved, my skin began to clear. You may never have been aware of these issues within your body but using this tool to recognise them will only benefit your overall health.
