We all love hot chocolate, it is a like a big hug in a mug! I am here to tell you IT IS possible to have a healthier hot chocolate that is not only tasty, comforting and warming but also nutritious. Cacao gives it an incredible boost of antioxidants and delivers lots of serotonin, the natural mood boosting happy-hormone!
Prep: 2 minutes
Cooking: 2 minutes
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 cup cashew milk
1/2 cup hot water
Sprinkle of coconut flakes
Cinnamon Stick (*optional)
Simply pop the cacao powder, hot water and cashew milk into a pan and stir until the mixture is blended all together.
Take the pan off before boiling point so the ingredients do not burn and to keep the goodness in!
Pour into a cup and sprinkle with coconut flakes
Use the cinnamon stick as a straw and sip! (*optional)
